Warning Against Disregarding Wisdom Wisdom calls out in the street, she shouts loudly in the plazas;

The Parable of the Sower On that day after Jesus went out of the house, he sat by the lake.

He said,“You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come.

His disciples said,“Look, now you are speaking plainly and not in obscure figures of speech!

saying,“We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name. Look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man’s blood on us!”

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness,
