The ship’s captain approached him and said,“What are you doing asleep? Get up! Cry out to your god! Perhaps your god might take notice of us so that we might not die!”

A young man named Eutychus, who was sitting in the window, was sinking into a deep sleep while Paul continued to speak for a long time. Fast asleep, he fell down from the third story and was picked up dead.

So then we must not sleep as the rest, but must stay alert and sober.
