Job’s Benevolence“As soon as the ear heard these things, it blessed me, and when the eye saw them, it bore witness to me,

For he will rescue the needy when they cry out for help, and the oppressed who have no defender.

For I say,“Loyal love is permanently established; in the skies you set up your faithfulness.”

Loyal love and truth preserve a king, and his throne is upheld by loyal love.

The prince who is a great oppressor lacks wisdom, but the one who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.

Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow!

He will treat the poor fairly, and make right decisions for the downtrodden of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and order the wicked to be executed.

He upheld the cause of the poor and needy. So things went well for Judah.’ The LORD says,‘That is a good example of what it means to know me.’

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.
