TSK · Romans 11:1

The LORD will not abandon his people because he wants to uphold his great reputation. The LORD was pleased to make you his own people.

I asked,“Will the Lord reject me forever? Will he never again show me his favor?

Certainly the LORD does not forsake his people; he does not abandon the nation that belongs to him.

“You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying,‘The LORD has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that he chose.’ So they have little regard that my people will ever again be a nation.

Look, the Sovereign LORD is watching the sinful nation, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. But I will not completely destroy the family of Jacob,” says the LORD.

Now all the Jews know the way I lived from my youth, spending my life from the beginning among my own people and in Jerusalem.

For I could wish that I myself were accursed– cut off from Christ– for the sake of my people, my fellow countrymen,

I was circumcised on the eighth day, from the people of Israel and the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews. I lived according to the law as a Pharisee.
