The Birth of Isaac The LORD visited Sarah just as he had said he would and did for Sarah what he had promised.

Then he blessed Joseph and said,“May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked– the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,

“Go and bring together the elders of Israel and tell them,‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, appeared to me– the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob– saying,“I have attended carefully to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt,

Then the LORD said to Moses,“I am going to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people will go out and gather the amount for each day, so that I may test them. Will they walk in my law or not?

Indeed, your servants take delight in her stones, and feel compassion for the dust of her ruins.

He gives food to his faithful followers; he always remembers his covenant.

Everything looks to you in anticipation, and you provide them with food on a regular basis.

He brings peace to your territory. He abundantly provides for you the best grain.

The rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return, but instead water the earth and make it produce and yield crops, and provide seed for the planter and food for those who must eat.

Joel 2:19 TSK

The LORD responded to his people,“Look! I am about to restore your grain as well as fresh wine and olive oil. You will be fully satisfied. I will never again make you an object of mockery among the nations.

They will demolish you– you and your children within your walls– and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

and maintain good conduct among the non-Christians, so that though they now malign you as wrongdoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God when he appears.
