TSK · Zechariah 13:9

I will walk among you, and I will be your God and you will be my people.

Today you have declared the LORD to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.

But he knows the pathway that I take; if he tested me, I would come forth like gold.

The LORD pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.

Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!”

When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor.

The crucible is for refining silver and the furnace is for gold, likewise the LORD tests hearts.

When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you.

Look, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have purified you in the furnace of misery.

They will not work in vain, or give birth to children that will experience disaster. For the LORD will bless their children and their descendants.

For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD.‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.

“But I will make a new covenant with the whole nation of Israel after I plant them back in the land,” says the LORD.“I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts and minds. I will be their God and they will be my people.

so that they may follow my statutes and observe my regulations and carry them out. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.

Then you will live in the land I gave to your fathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

Even some of the wise will stumble, resulting in their refinement, purification, and cleansing until the time of the end, for it is still for the appointed time.

It will so happen that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be delivered. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the LORD has promised; the remnant will be those whom the LORD will call.

“I(says the LORD) will strengthen the kingdom of Judah and deliver the people of Joseph and will bring them back because of my compassion for them. They will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the LORD their God and therefore I will hear them.

Who can endure the day of his coming? Who can keep standing when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap.

And then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has proven to be genuine, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.

Dear friends, do not be astonished that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as though something strange were happening to you.

The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
