Then Jacob^H3290 was greatly^H3966 afraid^H3372 and was distressed:^H3334 and he divided^H2673 the people^H5971 that were with him, and the flocks,^H6629 and the herds,^H1241 and the camels,^H1581 into two^H8147 companies;^H4264

Then all the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 and all the people,^H5971 went up,^H5927 and came^H935 unto ^H1004 Beth-el,^H430 and wept,^H1058 and sat^H3427 there before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 and fasted^H6684 that day^H3117 until even;^H6153 and they offered^H5927 burnt-offerings^H5930 and peace-offerings^H5930 before^H6440 Jehovah.^H3068

if my people,^H5971 who are called^H7121 by my name,^H8034 shall humble^H3665 themselves, and pray,^H6419 and seek^H1245 my face,^H6440 and turn^H7725 from their wicked^H7451 ways;^H1870 then will I hear^H8085 from heaven,^H8064 and will forgive^H5545 their sin,^H2403 and will heal^H7495 their land.^H776

Nevertheless^H61 there are good^H2896 things^H1697 found^H4672 in thee, in that thou hast put away^H1197 the Asheroth^H842 out of the land,^H776 and hast set^H3559 thy heart^H3824 to seek^H1875 God.^H430

Now in the twenty^H6242 and fourth^H702 day^H3117 of this month^H2320 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 were assembled^H622 with fasting,^H6685 and with sackcloth,^H8242 and earth^H127 upon them.

What time^H3117 I am afraid,^H3372 I will put my trust^H982 in thee.

And they said^H559 unto him, Thus saith^H559 Hezekiah,^H2396 This day^H3117 is a day^H3117 of trouble,^H6869 and of rebuke,^H8433 and of contumely;^H5007 for the children^H1121 are come^H935 to the birth,^H4866 and there is not strength^H3581 to bring forth.^H3205

And I set^H5414 my face^H6440 unto the Lord^H136 God,^H430 to seek^H1245 by prayer^H8605 and supplications,^H8469 with fasting^H6685 and sackcloth^H8242 and ashes.^H665

Yet even now, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 turn^H7725 ye unto me with all your heart,^H3824 and with fasting,^H6685 and with weeping,^H1065 and with mourning:^H4553

Then the men^H582 feared^H3372 Jehovah^H3068 exceedingly;^H1419 and they offered^H2076 a sacrifice^H2077 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and made^H5087 vows.^H5088

And^G2532 be not^G3361 afraid^G5399 of them that kill^G615 the body,^G4983 but^G1161 are^G1410 not^G3361 able^G1410 to kill^G615 the soul:^G5590 but^G1161 rather^G3123 fear^G5399 him who is able^G1410 to destroy^G622 both^G2532 soul^G5590 and^G2532 body^G4983 in^G1722 hell.^G1067
