The mountains^H2022 melted^H4549 like wax^H1749 at the presence^H6440 of Jehovah,^H3068 At the presence^H6440 of the Lord^H3068 of the whole earth.^H776

For there shall be a day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 upon all that is proud^H1343 and haughty,^H1343 and upon all that is lifted up;^H5375 and it shall be brought low;^H8213

And all the host^H6635 of heaven^H8064 shall be dissolved,^H4743 and the heavens^H8064 shall be rolled together^H1556 as a scroll;^H5612 and all their host^H6635 shall fade away,^H5034 as the leaf^H5929 fadeth from off^H5034 the vine,^H1612 and as a fading^H5034 [leaf] from the fig-tree.^H8384

Alas^H162 for the day!^H3117 for the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 is at hand,^H7138 and as destruction^H7701 from the Almighty^H7706 shall it come.^H935

The sun^H8121 shall be turned^H2015 into darkness,^H2822 and the moon^H3394 into blood,^H1818 before^H6440 the great^H1419 and terrible^H3372 day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 cometh.^H935

For the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts,^H6635 [is] he that toucheth^H5060 the land^H776 and it melteth,^H4127 and all that dwell^H3427 therein shall mourn;^H56 and it shall rise up^H5927 wholly like the River,^H2975 and shall sink^H8257 again, like the River^H2975 of Egypt;^H4714

And the mountains^H2022 shall be melted^H4549 under him, and the valleys^H6010 shall be cleft,^H1234 as wax^H1749 before^H6440 the fire,^H784 as waters^H4325 that are poured^H5064 down a steep place.^H4174

Behold, I will send^H7971 you Elijah^H452 the prophet^H5030 before^H6440 the great^H1419 and terrible^H3372 day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 come.^H935

Watch^G1127 therefore:^G3767 for^G3754 ye know^G1492 not^G3756 on what^G4169 day^G5610 your^G5216 Lord^G2962 cometh.^G2064

But^G1161 know^G1097 this,^G5124 that^G3754 if^G1487 the master of the house^G3617 had known^G1492 in what^G4169 hour^G5610 the thief^G2812 was coming,^G2064 he would have watched,^G302 and^G2532 not^G3756 have^G302 left^G863 his^G846 house^G3624 to be broken through.^G1358

to deliver^G3860 such a one^G5108 unto Satan^G4567 for^G1519 the destruction^G3639 of the flesh,^G4561 that^G2443 the spirit^G4151 may be saved^G4982 in^G1722 the day^G2250 of the Lord^G2962 Jesus.^G2424

For^G1063 yourselves^G846 know^G1492 perfectly^G199 that^G3754 the day^G2250 of the Lord^G2962 so^G3779 cometh^G2064 as^G5613 a thief^G2812 in^G1722 the night.^G3571

but^G1161 the heavens^G3772 that now^G3568 are, and^G2532 the earth,^G846 by^G3056 the same^G846 word^G3056 have been^G1526 stored^G2343 up for fire,^G4442 being reserved^G5083 against^G1519 the day^G2250 of judgment^G2920 and^G2532 destruction^G684 of^G444 ungodly^G765 men.^G444

And^G5037 angels^G32 that kept^G5083 not^G3361 their^G1438 own principality,^G746 but^G235 left^G620 their proper^G2398 habitation,^G3613 he hath kept^G5083 in^G1199 everlasting^G126 bonds^G1199 under^G5259 darkness^G2217 unto^G1519 the judgment^G2920 of the^G2250 great^G3173 day.^G2250

(Behold,^G2400 I come^G2064 as^G5613 a thief.^G2812 Blessed^G3107 is he^G3588 that watcheth,^G1127 and^G2532 keepeth^G5083 his^G846 garments,^G2440 lest^G3363 he walk^G4043 naked,^G1131 and^G2532 they see^G991 his^G846 shame.)^G808

And^G2532 I saw^G1492 a new^G2537 heaven^G3772 and^G2532 a new^G2537 earth:^G1093 for^G1063 the first^G4413 heaven^G3772 and^G2532 the first^G4413 earth^G1093 are passed away;^G3928 and^G2532 the sea^G2281 is^G2076 no^G3756 more.^G2089
