And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 Behold, thou shalt sleep^H7901 with thy fathers;^H1 and this people^H5971 will rise up,^H6965 and play the harlot^H2181 after^H310 the strange^H5236 gods^H430 of the land,^H776 whither they go^H935 to be among^H7130 them, and will forsake^H5800 me, and break^H6565 my covenant^H1285 which I have made^H3772 with them.

And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 did^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah,^H3068 and served^H5647 the Baalim;^H1168

Wherefore hast thou despised^H959 the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 to do^H6213 that which is evil^H7451 in his sight?^H5869 thou hast smitten^H5221 Uriah^H223 the Hittite^H2850 with the sword,^H2719 and hast taken^H3947 his wife^H802 to be thy wife,^H802 and hast slain^H2026 him with the sword^H2719 of the children^H1121 of Ammon.^H5983

And it came to pass, when the king^H4428 had heard^H8085 the words^H1697 of the book^H5612 of the law,^H8451 that he rent^H7167 his clothes.^H899

And be not ye like your fathers,^H1 and like your brethren,^H251 who trespassed^H4603 against Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers,^H1 so that he gave them up^H5414 to desolation,^H8047 as ye see.^H7200

we have dealt very^H2254 corruptly^H2254 against thee, and have not kept^H8104 the commandments,^H4687 nor the statutes,^H2706 nor the ordinances,^H4941 which thou commandedst^H6680 thy servant^H5650 Moses.^H4872

and testifiedst^H5749 against them, that thou mightest bring them again^H7725 unto thy law.^H8451 Yet they dealt proudly,^H2102 and hearkened^H8085 not unto thy commandments,^H4687 but sinned^H2398 against thine ordinances,^H4941 (which if a man^H120 do,^H6213 he shall live^H2421 in them), and withdrew^H5414 the shoulder,^H3802 and hardened^H7185 their neck,^H6203 and would not hear.^H8085

The elder^H2205 and the honorable^H6440 man, he^H1931 is the head;^H7218 and the prophet^H5030 that teacheth^H3384 lies,^H8267 he is the tail.^H2180

He feedeth^H7462 on ashes;^H665 a deceived^H2048 heart^H3820 hath turned him aside;^H5186 and he cannot deliver^H5337 his soul,^H5315 nor say,^H559 Is there not a lie^H8267 in my right hand?^H3225

and they shall spread^H7849 them before the sun,^H8121 and the moon,^H3394 and all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 which they have loved,^H157 and which they have served,^H5647 and after^H310 which they have walked,^H1980 and which they have sought,^H1875 and which they have worshipped:^H7812 they shall not be gathered,^H622 nor be buried,^H6912 they shall be for dung^H1828 upon the face^H6440 of the earth.^H127

but have walked^H3212 after^H310 the stubbornness^H8307 of their own heart,^H3820 and after^H310 the Baalim,^H1168 which their fathers^H1 taught^H3925 them;

and ye have done^H6213 evil^H7489 more than your fathers;^H1 for, behold,^H2009 ye walk^H1980 every one^H376 after^H310 the stubbornness^H8307 of his evil^H7451 heart,^H3820 so that ye hearken^H8085 not unto me:

But if ye will not hearken^H8085 unto me to hallow^H6942 the sabbath^H7676 day,^H3117 and not to bear^H5375 a burden^H4853 and enter in^H935 at the gates^H8179 of Jerusalem^H3389 on the sabbath^H7676 day;^H3117 then will I kindle^H3341 a fire^H784 in the gates^H8179 thereof, and it shall devour^H398 the palaces^H759 of Jerusalem,^H3389 and it shall not be quenched.^H3518

I have heard^H8085 what the prophets^H5030 have said,^H559 that prophesy^H5012 lies^H8267 in my name,^H8034 saying,^H559 I have dreamed,^H2492 I have dreamed.^H2492

They have seen^H2372 falsehood^H7723 and lying^H3577 divination,^H7081 that say,^H559 Jehovah^H3068 saith;^H5002 but Jehovah^H3068 hath not sent^H7971 them: and they have made men to hope^H3176 that the word^H1697 would be confirmed.^H6965

Again the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 came unto me, saying,^H559

because they rejected^H3988 mine ordinances,^H4941 and walked^H1980 not in my statutes,^H2708 and profaned^H2490 my sabbaths:^H7676 for their heart^H3820 went^H1980 after^H310 their idols.^H1544

because they had not executed^H6213 mine ordinances,^H4941 but had rejected^H3988 my statutes,^H2708 and had profaned^H2490 my sabbaths,^H7676 and their eyes^H5869 were after^H310 their fathers'^H1 idols.^H1544

Thou hast despised^H959 my holy things,^H6944 and hast profaned^H2490 my sabbaths.^H7676

And her sister^H269 Oholibah^H172 saw^H7200 this, yet was she more corrupt^H7843 in her doting^H5691 than she, and in her whoredoms^H8457 which were more than the whoredoms^H2183 of her sister.^H269

Therefore am I unto Ephraim^H669 as a moth,^H6211 and to the house^H1004 of Judah^H3063 as rottenness.^H7538

Jehovah^H3068 hath also a controversy^H7379 with Judah,^H3063 and will punish^H6485 Jacob^H3290 according to his ways;^H1870 according to his doings^H4611 will he recompense^H7725 him.

You only have I known^H3045 of all the families^H4940 of the earth:^H127 therefore I will visit^H6485 upon you all your iniquities.^H5771

for that they^G3748 exchanged^G3337 the truth^G225 of God^G2316 for^G1722 a lie,^G5579 and^G2532 worshipped^G4573 and^G2532 served^G3000 the creature^G2937 rather than^G3844 the Creator,^G2936 who^G3739 is^G2076 blessed^G2128 for^G1519 ever.^G165 Amen.^G281

knowing^G1492 that^G3754 ye were^G3084 redeemed,^G3084 not^G3756 with corruptible things,^G5349 with silver^G694 or^G2228 gold,^G5553 from^G1537 your^G5216 vain^G3152 manner of life^G391 handed down from your fathers;^G3970
