And Jehovah^H3068 spake^H1696 to Manasseh,^H4519 and to his people;^H5971 but they gave no heed.^H7181

but they mocked^H3931 the messengers^H4397 of God,^H430 and despised^H959 his words,^H1697 and scoffed^H8591 at his prophets,^H5030 until the wrath^H2534 of Jehovah^H3068 arose^H5927 against his people,^H5971 till there was no remedy.^H4832

Yet many^H7227 years^H8141 didst thou bear with them, and testifiedst^H5749 against them by thy Spirit^H7307 through^H3027 thy prophets:^H5030 yet would they not give^H5414 ear:^H238 therefore gavest^H5414 thou them into the hand^H3027 of the peoples^H5971 of the lands.^H776

neither have our kings,^H4428 our princes,^H8269 our priests,^H3548 nor our fathers,^H1 kept^H6213 thy law,^H8451 nor hearkened^H7181 unto thy commandments^H4687 and thy testimonies^H5715 wherewith thou didst testify^H5749 against them.

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Stand^H5975 ye in the ways^H1870 and see,^H7200 and ask^H7592 for the old^H5769 paths,^H5410 where is the good^H2896 way;^H1870 and walk^H3212 therein, and ye shall find^H4672 rest^H4771 for your souls:^H5315 but they said,^H559 We will not walk^H3212 [therein].

But they hearkened^H8085 not, nor inclined^H5186 their ear,^H241 but walked^H3212 in [their own] counsels^H4156 [and] in the stubbornness^H8307 of their evil^H7451 heart,^H3820 and went backward,^H268 and not forward.^H6440

yet they hearkened^H8085 not unto me, nor inclined^H5186 their ear,^H241 but made their neck^H6203 stiff:^H7185 they did worse^H7489 than their fathers.^H1

to hearken^H8085 to the words^H1697 of my servants^H5650 the prophets,^H5030 whom I send^H7971 unto you, even rising up early^H7925 and sending^H7971 them, but ye have not hearkened;^H8085

because of all the evil^H7451 of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 and of the children^H1121 of Judah,^H3063 which they have done^H6213 to provoke me to anger,^H3707 they, their kings,^H4428 their princes,^H8269 their priests,^H3548 and their prophets,^H5030 and the men^H376 of Judah,^H3063 and the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem.^H3389

As for the word^H1697 that thou hast spoken^H1696 unto us in the name^H8034 of Jehovah,^H3068 we will not hearken^H8085 unto thee.

Be ye not as your fathers,^H1 unto whom the former^H7223 prophets^H5030 cried,^H7121 saying,^H559 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Return^H7725 ye now from your evil^H7451 ways,^H1870 and from your evil^H7451 doings:^H4611 but they did not hear,^H8085 nor hearken^H7181 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

And^G1161 when^G3753 the season^G2540 of the fruits^G2590 drew near,^G1448 he sent^G649 his^G846 servants^G1401 to^G4314 the husbandmen,^G1092 to receive^G2983 his^G846 fruits.^G2590

And^G2532 at^G1722 the season^G2540 he sent^G649 unto^G4314 the husbandmen^G1092 a servant,^G1401 that^G2443 they should give^G1325 him^G846 of^G575 the fruit^G2590 of the vineyard:^G290 but^G1161 the husbandmen^G1092 beat^G1194 him,^G846 and sent^G1821 him away^G1821 empty.^G2756

For^G1063 they that dwell^G2730 in^G1722 Jerusalem,^G2419 and^G2532 their^G846 rulers,^G758 because they knew^G50 him^G5126 not,^G50 nor the^G2532 voices^G5456 of the prophets^G4396 which^G3588 are read^G314 every^{G3956 G2596} sabbath,^G4521 fulfilled^G4137 [them] by condemning^G2919 [him].
