And it came to pass at the end^H7093 of four^H702 hundred^H3967 and thirty^H7970 years,^H8141 even the selfsame^H6106 day^H3117 it came to pass, that all the hosts^H6635 of Jehovah^H3068 went out^H3318 from the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

And it shall be, when thy son^H1121 asketh^H7592 thee in time to come,^H4279 saying,^H559 What is this? that thou shalt say^H559 unto him, By strength^H2392 of hand^H3027 Jehovah^H3068 brought us out^H3318 from Egypt,^H4714 from the house^H1004 of bondage:^H5650

Remember^H2142 Abraham,^H85 Isaac,^H3327 and Israel,^H3478 thy servants,^H5650 to whom thou swarest^H7650 by thine own self, and saidst^H1696 unto them, I will multiply^H7235 your seed^H2233 as the stars^H3556 of heaven,^H8064 and all this land^H776 that I have spoken^H559 of will I give^H5414 unto your seed,^H2233 and they shall inherit^H5157 it for ever.^H5769

But Jehovah^H3068 hath taken^H3947 you, and brought you forth^H3318 out of the iron^H1270 furnace,^H3564 out of Egypt,^H4714 to be unto him a people^H5971 of inheritance,^H5159 as at this day.^H3117

And because he loved^H157 thy fathers,^H1 therefore he chose^H977 their seed^H2233 after^H310 them, and brought thee out^H3318 with his presence,^H6440 with his great^H1419 power,^H3581 out of Egypt;^H4714

Speak^H559 not thou in thy heart,^H3824 after that Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath thrust them out^H1920 from before^H6440 thee, saying,^H559 For my righteousness^H6666 Jehovah^H3068 hath brought me in^H935 to possess^H3423 this land;^H776 whereas for the wickedness^H7564 of these nations^H1471 Jehovah^H3068 doth drive them out^H3423 from before^H6440 thee.

Thou shalt not seek^H1875 their peace^H7965 nor their prosperity^H2896 all thy days^H3117 for ever.^H5769

For Jehovah^H3068 will not forsake^H5203 his people^H5971 for his great^H1419 name's^H8034 sake, because it hath pleased^H2974 Jehovah^H3068 to make^H6213 you a people^H5971 unto himself.

Blessed^H1288 be Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 who delighted^H2654 in thee, to set^H5414 thee on the throne^H3678 of Israel:^H3478 because Jehovah^H3068 loved^H160 Israel^H3478 for ever,^H5769 therefore made^H7760 he thee king,^H4428 to do^H6213 justice^H4941 and righteousness.^H6666

For they gat^H3423 not the land^H776 in possession^H3423 by their own sword,^H2719 Neither did their own arm^H2220 save^H3467 them; But thy right hand,^H3225 and thine arm,^H2220 and the light^H216 of thy countenance,^H6440 Because thou wast favorable^H7521 unto them.

He hath remembered^H2142 his covenant^H1285 for ever,^H5769 The word^H1697 which he commanded^H6680 to a thousand^H505 generations,^H1755

Since thou hast been precious^H3365 in my sight,^H5869 [and] honorable,^H3513 and I have loved^H157 thee; therefore will I give^H5414 men^H120 in thy stead, and peoples^H3816 instead of thy life.^H5315

Jehovah^H3068 appeared^H7200 of old^H7350 unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved^H157 thee with an everlasting^H5769 love:^H160 therefore with lovingkindness^H2617 have I drawn^H4900 thee.
