And Jehovah^H3068 repented^H5162 of the evil^H7451 which he said^H1696 he would do^H6213 unto his people.^H5971

Because Jehovah^H3068 was not^H1115 able^H3201 to bring^H935 this people^H5971 into the land^H776 which he sware^H7650 unto them, therefore he hath slain^H7819 them in the wilderness.^H4057

lest the land^H776 whence thou broughtest us out^H3318 say,^H559 Because Jehovah^H3068 was not able^H3201 to bring^H935 them into the land^H776 which he promised^H1696 unto them, and because he hated^H8135 them, he hath brought them out^H3318 to slay^H4191 them in the wilderness.^H4057

I said,^H559 I would scatter them afar,^H6284 I would make the remembrance^H2143 of them to cease^H7673 from among men;^H582

For Jehovah^H3068 will judge^H1777 his people,^H5971 And repent^H5162 himself for his servants;^H5650 When he seeth^H7200 that [their] power^H3027 is gone,^H235 And there is none^H657 [remaining], shut up^H6113 or left^H5800 at large.

And they raised^H6965 over him a great^H1419 heap^H1530 of stones,^H68 unto this day;^H3117 and Jehovah^H3068 turned^H7725 from the fierceness^H2740 of his anger.^H639 Wherefore the name^H8034 of that place^H4725 was called,^H7121 The valley^H6010 of Achor,^H5911 unto this day.^H3117

Remember^H2142 this, that the enemy^H341 hath reproached,^H2778 O Jehovah,^H3068 And that a foolish^H5036 people^H5971 hath blasphemed^H5006 thy name.^H8034

Help^H5826 us, O God^H430 of our salvation,^H3468 for^H1697 the glory^H3519 of thy name;^H8034 And deliver^H5337 us, and forgive^H3722 our sins,^H2403 for thy name's^H8034 sake.

Return,^H7725 O Jehovah;^H3068 How long? And let it repent^H5162 thee concerning thy servants.^H5650

And there is none that calleth^H7121 upon thy name,^H8034 that stirreth up^H5782 himself to take hold^H2388 of thee; for thou hast hid^H5641 thy face^H6440 from us, and hast consumed^H4127 us by means^H3027 of our iniquities.^H5771

But I wrought^H6213 for my name's^H8034 sake, that it should not be profaned^H2490 in the sight^H5869 of the nations,^H1471 among^H8432 which they were, in whose sight^H5869 I made myself known^H3045 unto them, in bringing them forth^H3318 out of the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

Nevertheless I withdrew^H7725 my hand,^H3027 and wrought^H6213 for my name's^H8034 sake, that it should not be profaned^H2490 in the sight^H5869 of the nations,^H1471 in whose sight^H5869 I brought them forth.^H3318

Jehovah^H3068 repented^H5162 concerning this: this also shall not be, saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 As I thought^H2161 to do evil^H7489 unto you, when your fathers^H1 provoked me to wrath,^H7107 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 and I repented^H5162 not;
