And it came to pass at that time,^H6256 that Judah^H3063 went down^H3381 from his brethren,^H251 and turned^H5186 in to a certain^H376 Adullamite,^H5726 whose name^H8034 was Hirah.^H2437

And she conceived^H2029 again, and bare^H3205 a son;^H1121 and she called^H7121 his name^H8034 Onan.^H209

And Er,^H6147 Judah's^H3063 first-born,^H1060 was wicked^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah;^H3068 and Jehovah^H3068 slew^H4191 him.

And Pethahiah^H6611 the son^H1121 of Meshezabel,^H4898 of the children^H1121 of Zerah^H2226 the son^H1121 of Judah,^H3063 was at the king's^H4428 hand^H3027 in all matters^H1697 concerning the people.^H5971
