But when Pharaoh^H6547 saw^H7200 that there was respite,^H7309 he hardened^H3513 his heart,^H3820 and hearkened^H8085 not unto them; as Jehovah^H3068 had spoken.^H1696

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 How long will this people^H5971 despise^H5006 me? and how long will they not^H3808 believe^H539 in me, for all the signs^H226 which I have wrought^H6213 among^H7130 them?

Ye shall not tempt^H5254 Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 as ye tempted^H5254 him in Massah.^H4532

Wherefore then do ye harden^H3513 your hearts,^H3824 as the Egyptians^H4714 and Pharaoh^H6547 hardened^H3513 their hearts?^H3820 When he had wrought wonderfully^H5953 among them, did they not let the people go,^H7971 and they departed?^H3212

Now be ye not stiffnecked,^H7185 as your fathers^H1 were; but yield^H5414 yourselves^H3027 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and enter^H935 into his sanctuary,^H4720 which he hath sanctified^H6942 for ever,^H5769 and serve^H5647 Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 that his fierce^H2740 anger^H639 may turn away^H7725 from you.

But they and our fathers^H1 dealt proudly^H2102 and hardened^H7185 their neck,^H6203 and hearkened^H8085 not to thy commandments,^H4687

And they tempted^H5254 God^H410 in their heart^H3824 By asking^H7592 food^H400 according to their desire.^H5315
