And, behold, ye are risen up^H6965 in your fathers'^H1 stead, an increase^H8635 of sinful^H2400 men,^H582 to augment^H5595 yet the fierce^H2740 anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 toward Israel.^H3478

Yet will I leave^H7604 [me] seven^H7651 thousand^H505 in Israel,^H3478 all the knees^H1290 which have not bowed^H3766 unto Baal,^H1168 and every mouth^H6310 which hath not kissed^H5401 him.

And he humbled^H3665 not himself before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 as Manasseh^H4519 his father^H1 had humbled^H3665 himself; but this same Amon^H526 trespassed^H819 more^H7235 and more.

Their idols^H6091 are silver^H3701 and gold,^H2091 The work^H4639 of men's^H120 hands.^H3027

Why will ye be still stricken,^H5221 that ye revolt^H5627 more and more?^H3254 the whole head^H7218 is sick,^H2483 and the whole heart^H3824 faint.^H2483

Behold, all his fellows^H2270 shall be put to shame;^H954 and the workmen,^H2796 they are of men:^H120 let them all be gathered together,^H6908 let them stand up;^H5975 they shall fear,^H6342 they shall be put to shame^H954 together.^H3162

Assemble^H6908 yourselves and come;^H935 draw near^H5066 together,^H3162 ye that are escaped^H6412 of the nations:^H1471 they have no knowledge^H3045 that carry^H5375 the wood^H6086 of their graven image,^H6459 and pray^H6419 unto a god^H410 that cannot save.^H3467

Remember^H2142 this, and show yourselves men;^H377 bring it again^H7725 to mind,^H3820 O ye transgressors.^H6586

They deck^H3302 it with silver^H3701 and with gold;^H2091 they fasten^H2388 it with nails^H4548 and with hammers,^H4717 that it move^H6328 not.

For she did not know^H3045 that I gave^H5414 her the grain,^H1715 and the new wine,^H8492 and the oil,^H3323 and multiplied^H7235 unto her silver^H3701 and gold,^H2091 which they used^H6213 for Baal.^H1168

For from Israel^H3478 is even this; the workman^H2796 made^H6213 it, and it is no God;^H430 yea, the calf^H5695 of Samaria^H8111 shall be broken in pieces.^H7616

The more [the prophets] called^H7121 them, the more they went^H1980 from them:^H6440 they sacrificed^H2076 unto the Baalim,^H1168 and burned incense^H6999 to graven images.^H6456

What profiteth^H3276 the graven image,^H6459 that the maker^H3335 thereof hath graven^H6458 it; the molten image,^H4541 even the teacher^H3384 of lies,^H8267 that he that fashioneth^H3335 its form^H3336 trusteth^H982 therein, to make^H6213 dumb^H483 idols?^H457

but^G1161 after^G2596 thy^G4675 hardness^G4643 and^G2532 impenitent^G279 heart^G2588 treasurest up^G2343 for thyself^G4572 wrath^G3709 in^G1722 the day^G2250 of wrath^G3709 and^G2532 revelation^G602 of the righteous judgment^G1341 of God;^G2316

But^G1161 evil^G4190 men^G444 and^G2532 impostors^G1114 shall wax^G4298 worse and worse,^G5501 deceiving^G4105 and^G2532 being deceived.^G4105
