And Jehovah^H3068 will bring^H7725 thee into Egypt^H4714 again^H7725 with ships,^H591 by the way^H1870 whereof I said^H559 unto thee, Thou shalt see^H7200 it no more again:^H3254 and there ye shall sell^H4376 yourselves unto your enemies^H341 for bondmen^H5650 and for bondwomen,^H8198 and no man shall buy^H7069 you.

And the bramble^H329 said^H559 unto the trees,^H6086 If in truth^H571 ye anoint^H4886 me king^H4428 over you, then come^H935 and take refuge^H2620 in my shade;^H6738 and if not, let fire^H784 come out^H3318 of the bramble,^H329 and devour^H398 the cedars^H730 of Lebanon.^H3844

And the king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 found^H4672 conspiracy^H7195 in Hoshea;^H1954 for he had sent^H7971 messengers^H4397 to So^H5471 king^H4428 of Egypt,^H4714 and offered^H5927 no tribute^H4503 to the king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 as he had done year^H8141 by year:^H8141 therefore the king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 shut him up,^H6113 and bound^H631 him in prison.^H1004

Give counsel,^H6098 execute^H6213 justice;^H6415 make^H7896 thy shade^H6738 as the night^H3915 in the midst^H8432 of the noonday;^H6672 hide^H5641 the outcasts;^H5080 betray not the fugitive.^H5074

And they shall be dismayed^H2865 and confounded,^H954 because of Ethiopia^H3568 their expectation,^H4007 and of Egypt^H4714 their glory.^H8597

Behold, thou trustest^H982 upon the staff^H4938 of this bruised^H7533 reed,^H7070 even upon Egypt,^H4714 whereon if a man^H376 lean,^H5564 it will go^H935 into his hand,^H3709 and pierce^H5344 it: so is Pharaoh^H6547 king^H4428 of Egypt^H4714 to all that trust^H982 on him.

And now what hast thou to do in the way^H1870 to Egypt,^H4714 to drink^H8354 the waters^H4325 of the Shihor?^H7883 or what hast thou to do in the way^H1870 to Assyria,^H804 to drink^H8354 the waters^H4325 of the River?^H5104

And Pharaoh's^H6547 army^H2428 was come forth^H3318 out^H3318 of Egypt;^H4714 and when the Chaldeans^H3778 that were besieging^H6696 Jerusalem^H3389 heard^H8085 tidings^H8088 of them, they brake up from Jerusalem.^H3389

saying,^H559 No; but we will go^H935 into the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 where we shall see^H7200 no war,^H4421 nor hear^H8085 the sound^H6963 of the trumpet,^H7782 nor have hunger^H7456 of bread;^H3899 and there will we dwell:^H3427

and they came^H935 into the land^H776 of Egypt;^H4714 for they obeyed^H8085 not the voice^H6963 of Jehovah:^H3068 and they came^H935 unto Tahpanhes.^H8471

And all the inhabitants^H3427 of Egypt^H4714 shall know^H3045 that I am Jehovah,^H3068 because they have been a staff^H4938 of reed^H7070 to the house^H1004 of Israel.^H3478

For they are gone up^H5927 to Assyria,^H804 [like] a wild ass^H6501 alone^H909 by himself: Ephraim^H669 hath hired^H8566 lovers.^H158
