The nations^H1471 raged,^H1993 the kingdoms^H4467 were moved:^H4131 He uttered^H5414 his voice,^H6963 the earth^H776 melted.^H4127

For he hath said,^H559 By the strength^H3581 of my hand^H3027 I have done^H6213 it, and by my wisdom;^H2451 for I have understanding:^H2451 and I have removed^H5493 the bounds^H1367 of the peoples,^H5971 and have robbed^H8154 their treasures,^H6259 and like a valiant^H47 man I have brought down^H3381 them^H3427 that sit [on thrones]:

Ah,^H1945 the uproar^H1995 of many^H1995 peoples,^H5971 that roar^H1993 like the roaring^H1993 of the seas;^H3220 and the rushing^H7588 of nations,^H3816 that rush like the rushing^H7582 of mighty^H3524 waters!^H4325

Behold, thou hast heard^H8085 what the kings^H4428 of Assyria^H804 have done^H6213 to all lands,^H776 by destroying them utterly:^H2763 and shalt thou be delivered?^H5337

And he saw^H7200 that there was no man,^H376 and wondered^H8074 that there was no intercessor:^H6293 therefore his own arm^H2220 brought salvation^H3467 unto him; and his righteousness,^H6666 it upheld^H5564 him.
