And Bela^H1106 died,^H4191 and Jobab^H3103 the son^H1121 of Zerah^H2226 of Bozrah^H1224 reigned^H4427 in his stead.

For my sword^H2719 hath drunk^H7301 its fill in heaven:^H8064 behold, it shall come down^H3381 upon Edom,^H123 and upon the people^H5971 of my curse,^H2764 to judgment.^H4941

I have trodden^H1869 the winepress^H6333 alone; and of the peoples^H5971 there was no^H376 man with me: yea, I trod^H1869 them in mine anger,^H639 and trampled^H7429 them in my wrath;^H2534 and their lifeblood^H5332 is sprinkled^H5137 upon my garments,^H899 and I have stained^H1351 all my raiment.^H4403

For I have sworn^H7650 by myself, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 that Bozrah^H1224 shall become an astonishment,^H8047 a reproach,^H2781 a waste,^H2721 and a curse;^H7045 and all the cities^H5892 thereof shall be perpetual^H5769 wastes.^H2723

I will bring them down^H3381 like lambs^H3733 to the slaughter,^H2873 like rams^H352 with he-goats.^H6260

it is sharpened^H2300 that it may make a^H2874 slaughter;^H2873 it is furbished^H4178 that it may be as lightning:^H1300 shall^H176 we then make mirth?^H7797 the rod^H7626 of my son,^H1121 it contemneth^H3988 every tree.^H6086

Ye shall eat^H398 the flesh^H1320 of the mighty,^H1368 and drink^H8354 the blood^H1818 of the princes^H5387 of the earth,^H776 of rams,^H352 of lambs,^H3733 and of goats,^H6260 of bullocks,^H6499 all of them fatlings^H4806 of Bashan.^H1316
