And he said,^H559 If now I have found^H4672 favor^H2580 in thy sight,^H5869 O Lord,^H136 let the Lord,^H136 I pray thee, go^H3212 in the midst^H7130 of us; for it is a stiffnecked^H7186 people;^H5971 and pardon^H5545 our iniquity^H5771 and our sin,^H2403 and take us for thine inheritance.^H5157

And I looked,^H7200 and, behold, ye had sinned^H2398 against Jehovah^H3068 your God;^H430 ye had made^H6213 you a molten^H4541 calf:^H5695 ye had turned aside^H5493 quickly^H4118 out of the way^H1870 which Jehovah^H3068 had commanded^H6680 you.

Were it not^H3884 that I feared^H1481 the provocation^H3708 of the enemy,^H341 Lest their adversaries^H6862 should judge amiss,^H5234 Lest they should say,^H559 Our hand^H3027 is exalted,^H7311 And Jehovah^H3068 hath not done^H6466 all this.

And the porch^H197 before^H6440 the temple^H1964 of the house,^H1004 twenty^H6242 cubits^H520 was the length^H753 thereof, according to the breadth^H7341 of the house;^H1004 [and] ten^H6235 cubits^H520 was the breadth^H7341 thereof before the house.^H1004

then will I pluck them up by the roots^H5428 out of my land^H127 which I have given^H5414 them; and this house,^H1004 which I have hallowed^H6942 for my name,^H8034 will I cast out^H7993 of my sight,^H6440 and I will make^H5414 it a proverb^H4912 and a byword^H8148 among all peoples.^H5971

Behold, we are servants^H5650 this day,^H3117 and as for the land^H776 that thou gavest^H5414 unto our fathers^H1 to eat^H398 the fruit^H6529 thereof and the good^H2898 thereof, behold, we are servants^H5650 in it.

These things I remember,^H2142 and pour out^H8210 my soul^H5315 within me, How I went^H5674 with the throng,^H5519 and led^H1718 them to the house^H1004 of God,^H430 With the voice^H6963 of joy^H7440 and praise,^H8426 a multitude^H1995 keeping holyday.^H2287

Why art thou cast down,^H7817 O my soul?^H5315 And why art thou disquieted^H1993 within me? Hope^H3176 thou in God;^H430 For I shall yet praise^H3034 him, [Who is] the help^H3444 of my countenance,^H6440 and my God.^H430

How long, O God,^H430 shall the adversary^H6862 reproach?^H2778 Shall the enemy^H341 blaspheme^H5006 thy name^H8034 for ever?^H5331

We are become a reproach^H2781 to our neighbors,^H7934 A scoffing^H3933 and derision^H7047 to them that are round about^H5439 us.

All that pass by^H5674 the way^H1870 rob^H8155 him: He is become a reproach^H2781 to his neighbors.^H7934

Wherefore should the nations^H1471 say,^H559 Where is now their God?^H430

O Jehovah,^H3068 why dost thou make us to err^H8582 from thy ways,^H1870 and hardenest^H7188 our heart^H3820 from thy fear?^H3374 Return^H7725 for thy servants'^H5650 sake, the tribes^H7626 of thine inheritance.^H5159

And he brought^H935 me into the inner^H6442 court^H2691 of Jehovah's^H3068 house;^H1004 and behold, at the door^H6607 of the temple^H1964 of Jehovah,^H3068 between the porch^H197 and the altar,^H4196 were about five^H2568 and twenty^H6242 men,^H376 with their backs^H268 toward the temple^H1964 of Jehovah,^H3068 and their faces^H6440 toward the east;^H6924 and they were worshipping^H7812 the sun^H8121 toward the east.^H6924

therefore, ye mountains^H2022 of Israel,^H3478 hear^H8085 the word^H1697 of the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H136 Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H136 to the mountains^H2022 and to the hills,^H1389 to the watercourses^H650 and to the valleys,^H1516 to the desolate^H8074 wastes^H2723 and to the cities^H5892 that are forsaken,^H5800 which are become a prey^H957 and derision^H3933 to the residue^H7611 of the nations^H1471 that are round about;^H5439

Take^H3947 with you words,^H1697 and return^H7725 unto Jehovah:^H3068 say^H559 unto him, Take away^H5375 all iniquity,^H5771 and accept^H3947 that which is good:^H2896 so will we render^H7999 [as] bullocks^H6499 [the offering of] our lips.^H8193

Gird^H2296 yourselves [with sackcloth], and lament,^H5594 ye priests;^H3548 wail,^H3213 ye ministers^H8334 of the altar;^H4196 come,^H935 lie all night^H3885 in sackcloth,^H8242 ye ministers^H8334 of my God:^H430 for the meal-offering^H4503 and the drink-offering^H5262 are withholden^H4513 from the house^H1004 of your God.^H430

Then said^H559 I, O Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 cease,^H2308 I beseech thee: how shall Jacob^H3290 stand?^H6965 for he is small.^H6996

And now, I pray you, entreat^H2470 the favor of God,^H410 that he may be gracious^H2603 unto us: this hath been by your means:^H3027 will he accept^H5375 any of your persons?^H6440 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

He trusteth^G3982 on God;^G2316 let him deliver^G4506 him^G846 now,^G3568 if^G1487 he desireth him:^G846 for^G1063 he said,^G3754 I am^G1510 the Son^G5207 of God.^G2316
