And Hannah^H2584 answered^H6030 and said,^H559 No, my lord,^H113 I am a woman^H802 of a sorrowful^H7186 spirit:^H7307 I have drunk^H8354 neither wine^H3196 nor strong drink,^H7941 but I poured out^H8210 my soul^H5315 before^H6440 Jehovah.^H3068

For my sighing^H585 cometh^H935 before^H6440 I eat,^H3899 And my groanings^H7581 are poured out^H5413 like water.^H4325

[ Yet] Jehovah^H3068 will command^H6680 his lovingkindness^H2617 in the day-time;^H3119 And in the night^H3915 his song^H7892 shall be with me, [Even] a prayer^H8605 unto the God^H410 of my life.^H2416

So will I bless^H1288 thee while I live:^H2416 I will lift up^H5375 my hands^H3709 in thy name.^H8034

I anticipated^H6923 the dawning of the morning,^H5399 and cried:^H7768 I hoped^H3176 in thy words.^H1697

Let my prayer^H8605 be set forth^H3559 as incense^H7004 before^H6440 thee; The lifting up^H4864 of my hands^H3709 as the evening^H6153 sacrifice.^H4503

When my spirit^H7307 was overwhelmed^H5848 within me, Thou knewest^H3045 my path.^H5410 In the way^H734 wherein^H2098 I walk^H1980 Have they hidden^H2934 a snare^H6341 for me.

Thy sons^H1121 have fainted,^H5968 they lie^H7901 at the head^H7218 of all the streets,^H2351 as an antelope^H8377 in a net;^H4364 they are full^H4392 of the wrath^H2534 of Jehovah,^H3068 the rebuke^H1606 of thy God.^H430

If I go forth^H3318 into the field,^H7704 then, behold, the slain^H2491 with the sword!^H2719 and if I enter^H935 into the city,^H5892 then, behold, they that are sick^H8463 with famine!^H7458 for both the prophet^H5030 and the priest^H3548 go about^H5503 in the land,^H776 and have no knowledge.^H3045

How is the gold^H2091 become dim!^H6004 [how] is the most^H2896 pure gold^H3800 changed!^H8132 The stones^H68 of the sanctuary^H6944 are poured out^H8210 at the head^H7218 of every street.^H2351

when I shall send^H7971 upon them the evil^H7451 arrows^H2671 of famine,^H7458 that are for destruction,^H4889 which I will send^H7971 to destroy^H7843 you: and I will increase^H3254 the famine^H7458 upon you, and will break^H7665 your staff^H4294 of bread;^H3899

Yet was she carried away,^H1473 she went^H1980 into captivity;^H7628 her young children^H5768 also were dashed in pieces^H7376 at the head^H7218 of all the streets;^H2351 and they cast^H3032 lots^H1486 for her honorable men,^H3513 and all her great men^H1419 were bound^H7576 in chains.^H2131

And^G2532 in the morning,^G4404 a great while^G3029 before day,^G1773 he rose up^G450 and went out,^G1831 and^G2532 departed^G565 into^G1519 a desert^G2048 place,^G5117 and there^G2546 prayed.^G4336

And^G1161 it came to pass^G1096 in^G1722 these^G3778 days,^G2250 that he went out^G1831 into^G1519 the mountain^G3735 to pray;^G4336 and^G2532 he continued^G2258 all night^G1273 in^G1722 prayer^G4335 to God.^G2316
