and he drank^H8354 of the wine,^H3196 and was drunken;^H7937 and he was uncovered^H1540 within^H8432 his tent.^H168

And they made^H8248 their father^H1 drink^H8248 wine^H3196 that night:^H3915 and the first-born^H1067 went in,^H935 and lay^H7901 with her father;^H1 and he knew^H3045 not when she lay down,^H7901 nor when she arose.^H6965

And when David^H1732 had called^H7121 him, he did eat^H398 and drink^H8354 before^H6440 him; and he made him drunk:^H7937 and at even^H6153 he went out^H3318 to lie^H7901 on his bed^H4904 with the servants^H5650 of his lord,^H113 but went not down^H3381 to his house.^H1004

It is not for kings,^H4428 O Lemuel,^H3927 it is not for kings^H4428 to drink^H8354 wine;^H3196 Nor for^H335 princes^H7336 [to say], Where is strong drink?^H7941

Woe^H1945 unto them that are mighty^H1368 to drink^H8354 wine,^H3196 and men^H582 of strength^H2428 to mingle^H4537 strong drink;^H7941

Come^H857 ye, [say they], I will fetch^H3947 wine,^H3196 and we will fill^H5433 ourselves with strong drink;^H7941 and to-morrow^H4279 shall be as this day,^H4279 [a day] great^H3966 beyond^H3499 measure.^H1419

On the day^H3117 of our king^H4428 the princes^H8269 made themselves sick^H2470 with the heat^H2534 of wine;^H3196 he stretched out^H4900 his hand^H3027 with scoffers.^H3945

And^G2532 be^G3182 not^G3361 drunken^G3182 with^G1722 wine,^G3631 wherein^G3739 is^G2076 riot,^G810 but^G235 be filled^G4137 with^G1722 the Spirit;^G4151
