But the man of God sent to ye kynge of Israel, sayenge: Bewarre yt thou go not vnto that place, for the Syrians rest there.

Neuertheles we made or praier vnto oure God, & set watchme vpo the wall daye & night ouer against them.

wherthorow the name of the LORDE might be feared, from the risynge of the Sone: and his magesty, vnto the goinge downe of the same. For he shal come as a violent waterstreame, which the wynde of the LORDE hath moued.

but yf it be of God, ye are not able to destroye it, lest ye be founde to be the men, that wil stryue agaynst God.

Immediatly the angell of the LORDE smote him, because he gaue not God the honoure: And he was eaten vp of wormes, and gaue vp the goost.

And then shal that wicked be vttered, whom the LORDE shal cosume with ye sprete of his mouth, & shal destroye with the appearaunce of his commynge:

And I wil geue power vnto my two wytnesses, and they shal prophesy.M.ijc. and lx. dayes clothed in sacke cloth.
