If I whet my glittering sworde, and mine hand take holde on iudgement, I will execute vengeance on mine enemies, and will rewarde them that hate me.

But Hezekiah did not render according to the rewarde bestowed vpon him: for his heart was lift vp, and wrath came vpon him, and vpon Iudah and Ierusalem.
Thine hand shall finde out all thine enemies, and thy right hand shall finde out them that hate thee.
My mouth shall daily rehearse thy righteousnesse, and thy saluation: for I knowe not the nomber.
Doe not I hate them, O Lorde, that hate thee? and doe not I earnestly contend with those that rise vp against thee?
If the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before you.
For the wrath of God is reueiled from heauen against all vngodlinesse, and vnrighteousnesse of men, which withhold the trueth in vnrighteousnesse.
Which men, though they knew ye Lawe of God, how that they which comit such things are worthie of death, yet not onely do the same, but also fauour them that doe them.
For if we would iudge our selues, we should not be iudged.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, knowe ye not that the amitie of the world is the enimitie of God? Whosoeuer therefore will be a friend of the world, maketh himselfe the enemie of God.
