Then all the ghestes that were with Adonijah, were afraide, and rose vp, and went euery man his way.

The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.

I am the Lorde, this is my Name, and my glory wil I not giue to another, neither my praise to grauen images.

They draw gold out of the bagge & weigh siluer in the balance, and hire a goldsmith to make a god of it, and they bowe downe, and worship it.

Wo vnto him that sayth to the wood, Awake, and to the dumme stone, Rise vp, it shall teach thee: beholde, it is layde ouer with golde and siluer, and there is no breath in it.
