And the Lord appeared vnto Abram, and said, Vnto thy seede will I giue this land; there builded he an altar vnto the Lord, which appeared vnto him.

Then Abram remoued his tent, and came and dwelled in the plaine of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and builded there an altar vnto ye Lorde.

O Lorde, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

To him that excelleth. A Psalme or song of Dauid. O God, praise waiteth for thee in Zion, and vnto thee shall the vowe be perfourmed.

For a day in thy courtes is better then a thousand other where: I had rather be a doore keeper in the House of my God, then to dwell in the Tabernacles of wickednesse.

Let them therefore confesse before ye Lorde his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.

For he hath inclined his eare vnto me, whe I did call vpon him in my dayes.

The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.

Then shall you crie vnto mee, and ye shal go and pray vnto me, and I will heare you,
