To him that excelleth on Shoshannim Eduth. A Psalme committed to Asaph. Heare, O thou Shepheard of Israel, thou that leadest Ioseph like sheepe: shewe thy brightnes, thou that sittest betweene the Cherubims.
Encline your eares, and come vnto me: heare, and your soule shal liue, and I will make an euerlasting couenant with you, euen the sure mercies of Dauid.
Then he remembred the olde time of Moses and his people, saying, Where is hee that brought them vp out of the Sea with the shepheard of his sheepe? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
And I wil set vp a shepherd ouer them, and he shall feede them, euen my seruant Dauid, he shal feede them, and he shalbe their shepherd.
Moreouer, I will make a couenant of peace with them: it shall be an euerlasting couenant with them, and I wil place them, and multiply them, and wil set my Sanctuarie among them for euermore.
For this is my blood of the Newe Testament, that is shedde for many, for the remission of sinnes.
Likewise also after supper he tooke the cup, saying, This cup is that newe Testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
I am that good shepheard, & knowe mine, and am knowen of mine.
This Iesus hath God raised vp, whereof we all are witnesses.
Be it knowen vnto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Iesvs Christ of Nazareth, whom ye haue crucified, whome God raised againe from the dead, euen by him doth this man stand here before you, whole.
Him God raysed vp the third day, and caused that he was shewed openly:
Because hee hath appoynted a day in the which he wil iudge the world in righteousnes, by that man whome hee hath appoynted, whereof he hath giuen an assurance to all men, in that hee hath raised him from the dead.
But also for vs, to whom it shalbe imputed for righteousnesse, which beleeue in him that raised vp Iesus our Lord from the dead,
Thus the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
And God hath also raised vp the Lord, and shall raise vs vp by his power.
And we are found also false witnesses of God: for we haue testified of God, that he hath raised vp Christ: whome he hath not raised vp, if so be the dead be not raised.
Finally brethren, fare ye wel: be perfect: be of good comfort: be of one minde: liue in peace, and the God of loue and peace shalbe with you.
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places,
In that yee are buried with him through baptisme, in whome ye are also raised vp together through the faith of the operation of God, which raised him from the dead.
Nowe the very God of peace sanctifie you throughout: and I pray God that your whole spirite and soule and body, may be kept blamelesse vnto the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ.
For where a Testament is, there must be the death of him that made the Testament.
Let vs drawe neere with a true heart in assurance of faith, our hearts being pure from an euill conscience,
Which by his meanes doe beleeue in God that raised him from the dead, and gaue him glorie, that your faith and hope might bee in God,
And when that chiefe shepheard shal appeare, ye shall receiue an incorruptible crowne of glory.
