Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!

Let thine eyes beholde the right, and let thine eyeliddes direct thy way before thee.

The righteousnes of the vpright shal direct his way: but the wicked shall fall in his owne wickednes.

A man that hardeneth his necke when he is rebuked, shall suddenly be destroyed and can not be cured.

Therefore the showres haue beene restrained, and the latter raine came not, and thou haddest a whores forehead: thou wouldest not bee ashamed.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not ashamed, neither coulde they haue any shame: therefore shall they fall among the slaine: when I shall visite them, they shall be cast downe, sayeth the Lorde.

Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that hee hath committed, he shall surely liue and shall not die.

Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Consider your owne wayes in your hearts.

(2:19) Consider, I pray you, in your mindes, from this day, and afore from the foure & twentieth day of the ninth moneth, euen from the day that the foundation of the Lords Temple was laide: consider it in your mindes.
