And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, ‹All hail.› And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
[And] she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
¶ Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.
¶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, ‹Peace› [be] ‹unto you.›
This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
