Back to passage

[Thou], which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Luke 9:60 TSK

Jesus said unto him, ‹Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.›

‹It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.›

John 6:63 TSK

‹It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,› [they] ‹are spirit, and› [they] ‹are life.›

¶ (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

¶ And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;

¶ Wherefore remember, that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

¶ Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
