And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man [is there that is] fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.
¶ And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which [were] on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which [were] by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak [as] water.
Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain [is] in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
