¶ And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

And I will give children [to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

¶ Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which [is] in Jerusalem.

Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

‹Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.›
