TSK · John 7:31

And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

‹They on the rock› [are they], ‹which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.›

¶ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast [day], many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

¶ Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

¶ Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
