And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

¶ To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

[Ye] ‹fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?›

‹But God said unto him,› [Thou] ‹fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?›
