¶ And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

¶ Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he [shall be] for an haven of ships; and his border [shall be] unto Zidon.

¶ The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

‹Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.›

¶ And again he entered into Capernaum after [some] days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

And he said unto them, ‹Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while:› for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
