‹Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.›

And he said unto them, ‹Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.›

‹Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.›

‹But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.›

‹And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.›

‹And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give› [it] ‹to him that hath ten pounds.›

‹Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.›
