¶ Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
¶ ‹Blessed› [are] ‹the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.›
‹Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach› [them], ‹the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.›

Another parable spake he unto them; ‹The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.›
‹Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:›

¶ ‹Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.›
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
‹But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.›
‹I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.›
‹Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.›
‹So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.›
Jesus answered and said unto him, ‹Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.›
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and [then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
¶ Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
‹Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.›
