Back to passage

And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I [being] in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him.

Frowardness [is] in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

¶ The righteous [is] more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

¶ The desire of a man [is] his kindness: and a poor man [is] better than a liar.

‹Blessed› [are] ‹the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.›
