¶ [There is] treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe [a man] with rags.

‹And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.›
