For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, [there is] no transgression.
Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God.
What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things [is] death.
¶ What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
¶ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
¶ Wherefore remember, that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.
But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
¶ Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
