¶ The Creation of the World In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God blessed them and said to them,“Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it! Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that moves on the ground.”

From Adam to Noah This is the record of the family line of Adam.When God created humankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

The Genealogy of Shem This is the account of Shem.Shem was 100 years old when he became the father of Arphaxad, two years after the flood.

Jacob and Esau This is the account of Isaac, the son of Abraham.Abraham became the father of Isaac.

This is the account of Esau, the father of the Edomites, in the hill country of Seir.

The LORD is a warrior, the LORD is his name.

He prayed:“O LORD God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

Indeed, who is God besides the LORD? Who is a protector besides our God?

Book 4(Psalms 90-106) A prayer of Moses, the man of God. O Lord, you have been our protector through all generations!

From John, to the seven churches that are in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from“he who is,” and who was, and who is still to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,
