Is anything impossible for the LORD? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.”

Jesus said to them,“My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to complete his work.

For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

But Jesus said to Peter,“Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, who calls“Abba! Father!”

If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, since he cannot deny himself.

During his earthly life Christ offered both requests and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death and he was heard because of his devotion.
