What he did was evil in the LORD’s sight, so the LORD killed him too.

The entire company of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“Tell the whole community of the Israelites,‘Come before the LORD, because he has heard your murmurings.’”

So fire went out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them so that they died before the LORD.

They said,“Has the LORD spoken only through Moses? Has he not also spoken through us?” And the LORD heard it.

And there was no water for the community, and so they gathered themselves together against Moses and Aaron.

Moreover, you continued to provoke the LORD at Taberah, Massah, and Kibroth-Hattaavah.
