TSK · Numbers 27:18

So Moses said to Joshua,“Choose some of our men and go out, fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”

And the LORD came down in the cloud and spoke to them, and he took some of the Spirit that was on Moses and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but did not do so again.

These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to investigate the land. And Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.

I also commanded Joshua at the same time,“You have seen everything the LORD your God did to these two kings; he will do the same to all the kingdoms where you are going.

Then Moses called out to Joshua in the presence of all Israel,“Be strong and courageous, for you will accompany these people to the land that the LORD promised to give their ancestors, and you will enable them to inherit it.

and the LORD commissioned Joshua son of Nun,“Be strong and courageous, for you will take the Israelites to the land I have promised them, and I will be with you.”

Just as we obeyed Moses, so we will obey you. But may the LORD your God be with you as he was with Moses!

These two went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

and when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.

Do not neglect the spiritual gift you have, given to you and confirmed by prophetic words when the elders laid hands on you.
