And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honor: and he provided him treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of goodly vessels;

[[ A Psalm] of David]. Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

The crown of the wise is their riches; [But] the folly of fools is [only] folly.

The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.

The fear of Jehovah [tendeth] to life; And he [that hath it] shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.

For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; But by men of understanding [and] knowledge the state [thereof] shall be prolonged.

The king by justice establisheth the land; But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.

Wisdom is a strength to the wise man more than ten rulers that are in a city.

And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence for ever.

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

Shalt thou reign, because thou strivest to excel in cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? then it was well with him.

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.

But godliness with contentment is great gain:
