We have shot^H3384 at them; Heshbon^H2809 is perished^H6 even unto Dibon,^H1769 And we have laid waste^H8074 even unto Nophah,^H5302 Which [reacheth] unto Medeba.^H4311

And their border^H1366 was from Aroer,^H6177 that is on the edge^H8193 of the valley^H5158 of the Arnon,^H769 and the city^H5892 that is in the middle^H8432 of the valley,^H5158 and all the plain^H4334 by Medeba;^H4311

And the Philistines^H6430 assembled themselves together^H622 to fight^H3898 with Israel,^H3478 thirty^H7970 thousand^H505 chariots,^H7393 and six^H8337 thousand^H505 horsemen,^H6571 and people^H5971 as the sand^H2344 which is on the sea-shore^{H3220 H8193} in multitude:^H7230 and they came up,^H5927 and encamped^H2583 in Michmash,^H4363 eastward^H6926 of Beth-aven.^H1007

And David^H1732 took^H3920 from him a thousand^H505 chariots,^H7393 and seven^H7651 thousand^H505 horsemen,^H6571 and twenty^H6242 thousand^H505 footmen;^H376 and David^H1732 hocked^H6131 all the chariot^H7393 horses, but reserved^H3498 of them for a hundred^H3967 chariots.^H7393

Some [trust] in chariots,^H7393 and some in horses;^H5483 But we will make mention^H2142 of the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 our God.^H430
