Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord^H113 the king^H4428 hear^H8085 the words^H1697 of his servant.^H5650 If it be Jehovah^H3068 that hath stirred thee up^H5496 against me, let him accept^H7306 an offering:^H4503 but if it be the children^H1121 of men,^H120 cursed^H779 be they before^H6440 Jehovah:^H3068 for they have driven^H1644 me out this day^H3117 that I should not cleave^H5596 unto the inheritance^H5159 of Jehovah,^H3068 saying,^H559 Go,^H3212 serve^H5647 other^H312 gods.^H430

Wherefore Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Solomon,^H8010 Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept^H8104 my covenant^H1285 and my statutes,^H2708 which I have commanded^H6680 thee, I will surely^H7167 rend^H7167 the kingdom^H4467 from thee, and will give^H5414 it to thy servant.^H5650

And God^H430 raised up^H6965 [another] adversary^H7854 unto him, Rezon^H7331 the son^H1121 of Eliada,^H450 who had fled^H1272 from his lord^H113 Hadadezer^H1909 king^H4428 of Zobah.^H6678

And the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem^H3389 made^H4427 Ahaziah^H274 his youngest^H6996 son^H1121 king^H4427 in his stead: for the band of men^H1416 that came^H935 with the Arabians^H6163 to the camp^H4264 had slain^H2026 all the eldest.^H7223 So Ahaziah^H274 the son^H1121 of Jehoram^H3088 king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 reigned.^H4427

Wherefore Jehovah^H3068 brought^H935 upon them the captains of^H8269 the host of^H8269 the king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 who took^H3920 Manasseh^H4519 in chains, and bound him^H631 with fetters,^H5178 and carried^H3212 him^H631 to Babylon.^H894

Then rose up^H6965 the heads^H7218 of fathers'^H1 [houses] of Judah^H3063 and Benjamin,^H1144 and the priests,^H3548 and the Levites,^H3881 even all whose spirit^H7307 God^H430 had stirred^H5782 to go up^H5927 to build^H1129 the house^H1004 of Jehovah^H3068 which is in Jerusalem.^H3389

I am Jehovah,^H3068 and there is none else; besides^H2108 me there is no God.^H430 I will gird^H247 thee, though thou hast not known^H3045 me;

Shall the trumpet^H7782 be blown^H8628 in a city,^H5892 and the people^H5971 not be afraid?^H2729 shall evil^H7451 befall a city,^H5892 and Jehovah^H3068 hath not done^H6213 it?
