And Jehovah^H3068 God^H430 formed^H3335 man^H120 of the dust^H6083 of^H4480 the ground,^H127 and breathed^H5301 into his nostrils^H639 the breath^H5397 of life;^H2416 and man^H120 became a living^H2416 soul.^H5315

And the lords^H5633 of the Philistines^H6430 gathered them together^H622 to offer^H2076 a great^H1419 sacrifice^H2076 unto Dagon^H1712 their god,^H430 and to rejoice;^H8057 for they said,^H559 Our god^H430 hath delivered^H5414 Samson^H8123 our enemy^H341 into our hand.^H3027

And David^H1732 spake^H559 to the men^H582 that stood^H5975 by him, saying,^H559 What shall be done^H6213 to the man^H376 that killeth^H5221 this^H1975 Philistine,^H6430 and taketh away^H5493 the reproach^H2781 from Israel?^H3478 for who is this uncircumcised^H6189 Philistine,^H6430 that he should defy^H2778 the armies^H4634 of the living^H2416 God?^H430

Thou hast indeed^H5221 smitten^H5221 Edom,^H123 and thy heart^H3820 hath lifted thee up:^H5375 glory^H3513 thereof, and abide^H3427 at home;^H1004 for why shouldest thou meddle^H1624 to [thy] hurt,^H7451 that thou shouldest fall,^H5307 even thou, and Judah^H3063 with thee?

Doth not he see^H7200 my ways,^H1870 And number^H5608 all my steps?^H6806

Thou hidest^H5641 thy face,^H6440 they are troubled;^H926 Thou takest away^H622 their breath,^H7307 they die,^H1478 And return^H7725 to their dust.^H6083

The heavens^H8064 are the heavens^H8064 of Jehovah;^H3068 But the earth^H776 hath he given^H5414 to the children^H1121 of men.^H120

Thou searchest^H2219 out my path^H734 and my lying down,^H7252 And art acquainted^H5532 with all my ways.^H1870

A man's^H1397 goings^H4703 are of Jehovah;^H3068 How then can man^H120 understand^H995 his way?^H1870

Now will I arise,^H6965 saith^H559 Jehovah;^H3068 now will I lift up^H5375 myself; now will I be exalted.^H7426

Whom hast thou defied^H2778 and blasphemed?^H1442 and against whom hast thou exalted^H7311 thy voice^H6963 and lifted up^H5375 thine eyes^H5869 on high?^H4791 [even] against the Holy One^H6918 of Israel.^H3478

Such as lavish^H2107 gold^H2091 out of the bag,^H3599 and weigh^H8254 silver^H3701 in the balance,^H7070 they hire^H7936 a goldsmith,^H6884 and he maketh^H6213 it a god;^H410 they fall down,^H5456 yea, they worship.^H7812

The voice^H6963 of them that flee^H5127 and escape out^H6405 of the land^H776 of Babylon,^H894 to declare^H5046 in Zion^H6726 the vengeance^H5360 of Jehovah^H3068 our God,^H430 the vengeance^H5360 of his temple.^H1964

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 say^H559 unto the prince^H5057 of Tyre,^H6865 Thus says^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Because your heart^H3820 is lifted up,^H1361 and you have said,^H559 I am a god,^H410 I sit^H3427 in the seat^H4186 of God,^H430 in the midst^H3820 of the seas;^H3220 yet you are man,^H120 and not God,^H410 though you did set^H5414 your heart^H3820 as the heart^H3820 of God;—^H430

Your heart^H3820 was lifted up^H1361 because of your beauty;^H3308 you have corrupted^H7843 your wisdom^H2451 by reason of^H5921 your brightness:^H3314 I have cast^H7993 you to the ground;^H776 I have laid^H5414 you before^H6440 kings,^H4428 that they may behold^H7200 you.

Yea, it magnified^H1431 itself, even to the prince^H8269 of the host;^H6635 and it took away^H7311 from him the continual^H8548 [burnt-offering], and the place^H4349 of his sanctuary^H4720 was cast down.^H7993

Behold, his soul^H5315 is puffed up,^H6075 it is not upright^H3474 in him; but the righteous^H6662 shall live^H2421 by his faith.^H530

neither^G3761 is he served^G2323 by^G5259 men's^G444 hands,^G5495 as though he needed^G4326 anything,^G5100 seeing he^G846 himself giveth^G1325 to all^G3956 life,^G2222 and^G2532 breath,^G4157 and^G2596 all things;^G3956

because that,^G1360 knowing^G1097 God,^G2316 they glorified^G1392 him not^G3756 as^G5613 God,^G2316 neither^G2228 gave thanks;^G2168 but^G235 became vain^G3154 in^G1722 their^G846 reasonings,^G1261 and^G2532 their^G846 senseless^G801 heart^G2588 was darkened.^G4654

not^G3361 a novice,^G3504 lest^G3361 being puffed^G5187 up he fall^G1706 into^G1519 the condemnation^G2917 of the devil.^G1228

and^G2532 there was given^G1325 to him^G846 a mouth^G4750 speaking^G2980 great things^G3173 and^G2532 blasphemies;^G988 and^G2532 there was given^G1325 to him^G846 authority^G1849 to continue^G4160 forty^G5062 and two^G1417 months.^G3376
