Speak^H1696 unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 that they take^H3947 for me an offering:^H8641 of every man^H376 whose heart^H3820 maketh him willing^H5068 ye shall take^H3947 my offering.^H8641

And they came,^H935 both^H5921 men^H582 and women,^H802 as many as^H3605 were^H5081 willing-hearted,^H3820 [and] brought^H935 brooches,^H2397 and ear-rings,^H5141 and signet-rings,^H2885 and armlets,^H3558 all jewels^H3627 of gold;^H2091 even every man^H376 that offered^H5130 an offering^H8573 of gold^H2091 unto Jehovah.^H3068

The children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 brought^H935 a freewill-offering^H5071 unto Jehovah;^H3068 every man^H376 and woman,^H802 whose^H834 heart^H3820 made them willing^H5068 to bring^H935 for all the work,^H4399 which Jehovah^H3068 had commanded^H6680 to be made^H6213 by^H3027 Moses.^H4872

Hear,^H8085 O ye kings;^H4428 give ear,^H238 O ye princes;^H7336 I, [even] I, will sing^H7891 unto Jehovah;^H3068 I will sing^H2167 praise to Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel.^H3478

Awake,^H5782 awake,^H5782 Deborah;^H1683 Awake,^H5782 awake,^H5782 utter^H1696 a song:^H7892 Arise,^H6965 Barak,^H1301 and lead away thy^H7628 captives,^H7617 thou son^H1121 of Abinoam.^H42

Then David^H1732 the king^H4428 stood up^H6965 upon his feet,^H7272 and said,^H559 Hear^H8085 me, my brethren,^H251 and my people:^H5971 as for me, it was in my heart^H3824 to build^H1129 a house^H1004 of rest^H4496 for the ark^H727 of the covenant^H1285 of Jehovah,^H3068 and for the footstool^H1916 of our God;^H430 and I had made ready^H3559 for the building.^H1129

Moreover also, because I have set my affection^H7521 on the house^H1004 of my God,^H430 seeing that I have^H3426 a treasure^H5459 of mine own of gold^H2091 and silver,^H3701 I give^H5414 it unto the house^H1004 of my God,^H430 over and above^H4605 all that I have prepared^H3559 for the holy^H6944 house,^H1004

And they with whom [precious] stones^H68 were found^H4672 gave^H5414 them to the treasure^H214 of the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 under the hand^H3027 of Jehiel^H3171 the Gershonite.^H1649

But who am I, and what is my people,^H5971 that we should be^H6113 able^H3581 to offer so willingly^H5068 after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own^H3027 have we given^H5414 thee.

Then rose up^H6965 the heads^H7218 of fathers'^H1 [houses] of Judah^H3063 and Benjamin,^H1144 and the priests,^H3548 and the Levites,^H3881 even all whose spirit^H7307 God^H430 had stirred^H5782 to go up^H5927 to build^H1129 the house^H1004 of Jehovah^H3068 which is in Jerusalem.^H3389

Blessed^H1288 be Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of our fathers,^H1 who hath put^H5414 such a thing as this in the king's^H4428 heart,^H3820 to beautify^H6286 the house^H1004 of Jehovah^H3068 which is in Jerusalem;^H3389

Keep^H5341 thy heart^H3820 with all diligence;^H4929 For out of it are the issues^H8444 of life.^H2416

Ye offspring^G1081 of vipers,^G2191 how^G4459 can ye,^G1410 being^G5607 evil,^G4190 speak^G2980 good things?^G18 for^G1063 out^G1537 of the abundance^G4051 of the heart^G2588 the mouth^G4750 speaketh.^G2980

[ Let] each man^G1538 [do] according as^G2531 he hath purposed^G4255 in his heart:^G2588 not^{G3361 G1537} grudgingly,^G3077 or^G2228 of^G1537 necessity:^G318 for^G1063 God^G2316 loveth^G25 a cheerful^G2431 giver.^G1395
