And Lot^H3876 lifted up^H5375 his eyes,^H5869 and beheld^H7200 all the Plain^H3603 of the Jordan,^H3383 that it was well watered^H4945 every where, before^H6440 Jehovah^H3068 destroyed^H7843 Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah,^H6017 like the garden^H1588 of Jehovah,^H3068 like the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 as thou goest^H935 unto Zoar.^H6820

And the generation^H1755 to come,^H314 your children^H1121 that shall rise up^H6965 after^H310 you, and the foreigner^H5237 that shall come^H935 from a far^H7350 land,^H776 shall say,^H559 when they see^H7200 the plagues^H4347 of that land,^H776 and the sicknesses^H8463 wherewith Jehovah^H3068 hath made^H2470 it sick;

There shall dwell^H7931 in his tent^H168 that which is none^H1097 of his: Brimstone^H1614 shall be scattered^H2219 upon his habitation.^H5116

Except^H3884 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 had left^H3498 unto us a very small^H4592 remnant,^H8300 we should have been^H1961 as Sodom,^H5467 we should have been like^H1819 unto Gomorrah.^H6017

And let that man^H376 be as the cities^H5892 which Jehovah^H3068 overthrew,^H2015 and repented^H5162 not: and let him hear^H8085 a cry^H2201 in the morning,^H1242 and shouting^H8643 at noontime;^H6256

As in the overthrow^H4114 of Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah^H6017 and the neighbor^H7934 cities thereof, saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 no man^H376 shall dwell^H3427 there, neither shall any son^H1121 of man^H120 sojourn^H1481 therein.

For the iniquity^H5771 of the daughter^H1323 of my people^H5971 is greater^H1431 than the sin^H2403 of Sodom,^H5467 That was overthrown^H2015 as in a moment,^H7281 and no hands^H3027 were laid^H2342 upon her.

How shall I give thee up,^H5414 Ephraim?^H669 [how] shall I cast^H4042 thee off, Israel?^H3478 how shall I make^H5414 thee as Admah?^H126 [how] shall I set^H7760 thee as Zeboiim?^H6636 my heart^H3820 is turned^H2015 within me, my compassions^H5150 are kindled^H3648 together.^H3162

Therefore as I live,^H2416 saith^H5002 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 Surely Moab^H4124 shall be as Sodom,^H5467 and the children^H1121 of Ammon^H5983 as Gomorrah,^H6017 a possession^H4476 of nettles,^H2738 and saltpits,^H4379 and a perpetual^H5704 desolation:^H8077 the residue^H7611 of my people^H5971 shall make a prey^H962 of them, and the remnant^H3499 of my nation^H1471 shall inherit^H5157 them.

Likewise^G3668 even^G2532 as^G5613 it came to pass^G1096 in^G1722 the days^G2250 of Lot;^G3091 they ate,^G2068 they drank,^G4095 they bought,^G59 they sold,^G4453 they planted,^G5452 they builded;^G3618

Even as^G5613 Sodom^G4670 and^G2532 Gomorrah,^G1116 and^G2532 the cities^G4172 about^G4012 them,^G846 having in^G5158 like^{G3664 G5125} manner^G5158 with these given themselves over to fornication^G1608 and^G2532 gone^G565 after^G3694 strange^G2087 flesh,^G4561 are set forth^G4295 as an example,^G1164 suffering^G5254 the punishment^G1349 of^G4442 eternal^G166 fire.^G4442
