And he said,^H559 O Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of my master^H113 Abraham,^H85 send me,^H6440 I pray thee, good speed^H7136 this day,^H3117 and show^H6213 kindness^H2617 unto^H5973 my master^H113 Abraham.^H85

And Jacob^H3290 went out^H3318 from Beer-sheba,^H884 and went^H3212 toward Haran.^H2771

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep^H8104 thee whithersoever^H834 thou goest,^H3212 and will bring thee again^H7725 into this land;^H127 for I will not leave^H5800 thee, until^H834 I have done^H6213 that which I have spoken^H1696 to thee of.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Jacob,^H3290 Return^H7725 unto the land^H776 of thy fathers,^H1 and to thy kindred;^H4138 and I will be with thee.

Then Jacob^H3290 was greatly^H3966 afraid^H3372 and was distressed:^H3334 and he divided^H2673 the people^H5971 that were with him, and the flocks,^H6629 and the herds,^H1241 and the camels,^H1581 into two^H8147 companies;^H4264

Then David^H1732 the king^H4428 went^H935 in, and sat^H3427 before^H6440 Jehovah;^H3068 and he said,^H559 Who am I, O Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 and what is my house,^H1004 that thou hast brought^H935 me thus far?^H1988

Yet shall the righteous^H6662 hold^H270 on his way,^H1870 And he that hath clean^H2890 hands^H3027 shall wax^H3254 stronger and stronger.^H555

For thou hast made him but little^H4592 lower^H2637 than God,^H430 And crownest^H5849 him with glory^H3519 and honor.^H3519

Thou hast also given^H5414 me the shield^H4043 of thy salvation;^H3468 And thy right hand^H3225 hath holden me up,^H5582 And thy gentleness^H6037 hath made me great.^H7235

They go^H3212 from strength^H2428 to strength;^H2428 Every one of them appeareth^H7200 before God^H430 in Zion.^H6726

But the path^H734 of the righteous^H6662 is as the dawning^H5051 light,^H216 That shineth^H215 more^H1980 and more unto the perfect^H3559 day.^H3117

I will make mention^H2142 of the lovingkindnesses^H2617 of Jehovah,^H3068 and the praises^H8416 of Jehovah,^H3068 according to all that Jehovah^H3068 hath bestowed^H1580 on us, and the great^H7227 goodness^H2898 toward the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 which he hath bestowed^H1580 on them according to his mercies,^H7356 and according to the multitude^H7230 of his lovingkindnesses.^H2617

Thou wilt perform^H5414 the truth^H571 to Jacob,^H3290 [and] the lovingkindness^H2617 to Abraham,^H85 which thou hast sworn^H7650 unto our fathers^H1 from the days^H3117 of old.^H6924

Even^G2532 so^G3779 ye^G5210 also, when^G3752 ye shall have done^G4160 all^G3956 the things that^G3588 are commanded^G1299 you,^G5213 say,^G3004 We are^G2070 unprofitable^G888 servants;^G3754 we have done^G4160 that which^G3739 it^G3754 was our duty^G3784 to do.^G4160

^G2532 I^G2192 thank^G5485 him that enabled^G1743 me,^G3165 even Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 our^G2257 Lord,^G2962 for that^G3754 he counted^G2233 me^G3165 faithful,^G4103 appointing me^G5087 to^G1519 his service;^G1248

If^G1437 we say^G2036 that^G3754 we have^G2192 no^G3756 sin,^G266 we deceive^G4105 ourselves,^G1438 and^G2532 the truth^G225 is^G2076 not^G3756 in^G1722 us.^G2254
